Pre-task preparation:
1. Revision: say something about forests and land.
2. Introduce the new words by a matching exercise.
While-task procedure:
1. Play the recording: Look and read. Students listen carefully to the text and follow in their books.
2. Fill in the blanks by asking and answering questions in pairs.( Practise the patterns: We get … from…. We use … to do /for doing… ).
3. Read the passage together, and try to retell the text with the help of the pictures.
Post-task activity
1. Form groups of four to discuss the uses of different material.
2. Give the advice about “ How should we take care of forests and land.”
