No 1   "The Opening Ceremony"

     On the seventh of the February, the opening ceremony was held in the school auditorium. All the teachers and students attended. A teacher representative and the student representative from 16 classes respectively gave their best wishes for the new term. Later, Headmaster, Zhang Xiaozhong, gave a final speech. He thanked for the contribution of all the amiable teachers and the lovely children. He sincerely hoped everybody in our school would hold the ability of seizing happiness, balance work and rest, be happy and healthy every day!

No 2      "The Training of Rules of Etiquette"

      On the morning of February the 17th, all the students in Longyuan Middle School have taken part in a special activity---The Training of Rules of Etiquette. During this training, all the students learned how to sing the 'Young Pioneer Song' loudly and accurately , how to salute the national flag correctly and how to put on their red scarves quickly. It's an important lesson for all the students. For it aims to tell them that as a student they should cherish today, study hard and be a useful and responsible person to the society , the country as well as the world.

No 3   Watching "CCTV's annual Touching China Awards 2011"

     On the afternoon of February the 24th , the school has organized all the students to watch the video "Touching China Awards 2011"in their classrooms. It's a time when everybody held their breath and sat straight to watch TV carefully. Although some of them have watched for more than once, they still couldn't help to be moved by the touching movements of those heroes.

     Among the ten heroes, there is a mum Wu Juping who is hailed by many in the country as the "most beautiful mum in China" and this is not a reference to her physical beauty. She saved a two-year-old girl who fell from the tenth floor of a building with her hands. The impact broke three bones in her arms. Luckily, the hit was just an inch closer to her chest, otherwise she would have died. She ever said "There are some moments in life when we have to make tough decisions. And to make the right choice, we have to do away with our worries and rational but time-cosuming analysis. We simply choose what’s right. We refuse to sit back and watch."
